I gotta tell ya it wasn't the question but the screen door that made me chuckle. Lands End solved that issue for the hubby. Start with a pair from recommended sources and see what you think. SC

Re: Comfortable Mens' Lined Shorts

try mens Under Armour underware. They are designed to wick away moisture. Jocky also makes some like type underware if you can find them. I quit wearing cotton and went to these because they work so well.

Re: Comfortable Mens' Lined Shorts

The shorts with netting inside are terrible to wear as full time shorts, just swimming for me. I wear Patagonia boxers, made of lightweight capilene; prob. similar to polypropylene Under Armor, although I've never tried theirs. I get over five years from them, but their pricey. Cotton shorts for me, like the guy from OZ. If they could make a superfine marino with any durability it would make a great boxer. I wear a wool t-shirt every day in cool weather.

Good luck, and save the chicken wire lines shorts for swims, then rinse and put on some wicking underwear, and some cotton shorts.
