We’ve been sailing the
Bahamas for about a month now and for the past couple of weeks I’ve been craving a cheeseburger. As most of our stops have been
remote there hasn’t been a cheeseburger in sight. We pulled into Staniel Cay and went to the yacht club. There was a cheeseburger on the menu, but I couldn’t bring myself to pay nearly $20.00 for the burger. The next day we moved on to Black Point Settlement and made a wonderful discovery! There is a new restaurant in the Settlement. It been open only for 7 months. The cheeseburger priced at $9.00 was really yummy. But that’s not all that’s great about the EMERALD SUNSET VIEW. They offer free
WiFi, free
water right at the dingy
dock, an excellent view with ocean breezes keeping the
deck and
interior nice and cool. Adjacent to the restaurant they have a beach with loungers for their guests. The building is brand new, very clean and the staff is friendly and accommodating.. I highly recommend making this place a stop on your next trip to the
Exumas.
