Chasing 6000

I'm coming up on 6000 posts. This seems impossible as I remember just a few years ago when I was coming up on 2000 that I was thinking of giving up on CF. I even had a thread about it on how hard it really is to get useful info sometimes to questions (still is).

I have been trying to read fewer and fewer threads, and for the most part have been sucessful on this. If CF could do a better job of controlling the aholes and idiots that just suck me in I bet I could lose enough interest to move on to sometimes important, like porn.

I think I need some tips on what it takes to get banded.

First thought, maybe your boss needs to monitor your computer use a little more closely. That could solve the majority of your problem right there. Want me to give them a call for you?

As far as getting useful information, obviously you are asking the wrong people. If you want the right answer just ask me and forget about all those blowhards on the forum.

And don't you know that boat porn is the worst, most addictive form?

Want to get banded? Send me your account password and I can arrange that. Plus this would give me the chance to say exactly what I think on a few subjects without getting banded myself.

Due to my frequent encounters with the mods, I have been ordered to read the posting agreement we have all agreed to. Turns out that we are not supposed to discuss the site's moderation. I offer that up here as a FYI.

That said, my interactions with them have been uniformly pleasant, even when I was being "moderated."

What??? You mean that RH isn't really sailing on a Hans Crustacean? Oh, please tell me that you were joking, or misguided or just plain wrong!

But back to the OP...

Seems that the good way to build your post count (if that should be important to you for some strange reason) is to own and be proud of a Hunter yacht. Self defense is then frequently called for, and up go the numbers.

But who cares about this statistic, really???

Cheers,

Jim

Re: chasing 6000

BTW, I learned how to get banned, almost.
First, use the F word pointed directly at another member.
Second, try to be funny when you're replying drunk to the mod.
Third, argue drunk with the mod about why you're funny.
That will coax out information about exactly why you're about to be banned.
Good thing I only drink about once a month!

Another appears to be by posting many times in many threads. My fav CFer has posted several thousand times in a very short while! And I thank the gods for each of those vital messages. No, really.

Threads like this is how one gets 6000 in such a short time.
