We used to have a quaint habit of banding women in the U.S. with rings on their fingers. Not so much anymore. Prob the same around the rest of the world in what I refer to as our Dependencies.
Are you sure it's the women who were banded by the men and not vice versa?

.....I am sure Don's first(!) 6000 posts were a lot more interesting and valuable than mine, if only I can read them all - again!
