Admittedly I'm a retired Marine Major...I call my 38' Ingrid "S/V Semper Fi" which is a slang Latin for "Always Faithful". A well thought name for a boat that is destine to sail out of the breakwater on Noverber 10, 2012 on a solo non-stop circumnavigation. I'll be 65 at that point and have no asperations of record setting voyages, just the same point of departure and arrival, just like everyone else that goes out for a day sail.

I recall a name from many years back. While visiting the Bay area I spied a boat for sale by two ladies that had been life partners for many many years...the boat was called "Fire Men".

Many years ago I started a chain of clubs named 'Dela Vu' (Showgirls). I had a little sailboat named 'Nauti Girl'. the spinnaker was black with 'Deja Vu's' logo, a round circle with a pair of fishnet cover legs and spike heels coming out of it. What a mistake.
