My Dad was in the Army - British Grenadier Guards - and was a happy fellow so Mum and the kids came up with the name "Gay Grenadier" and we sailed his boat around Europe with that name for years.

Of course that was in the '60's before that name would have got Dad into trouble!

I'm your age...If I were you...I would call her.. S/V Semper Cialis!

I saw a powerboat today, set up for fishing. The name on the side was "Fishious Intent".

I'd chosen 'Eleven' as the name for our Cat. The two hulls being more than the sum!?
The Admiral chose Poppy. Ah well. Such is the price of a worthy crew.

A cat also looks the number 11 passing overhead as a fish sees it from below.

There's a nice Island Gypsy power boat here called 'No Mast Eh' - Namaste being the Hindu honourific greeting.

There's also a small sailboat called 'Plastic Bag' and a larger one called 'Pussy Power'.

Saw 1 today in an Insurance Auction I liked...

"Cents-Less"
(Vertical strike-through the "C", like the monetary symbol)

Guessing in the end it turned out prophetic...
sank, insurance settled vs. restoration;

Rumpleforeskin

Met a nice couple in Exuma a year or two ago on a cat named "Double Wide". The best part was the name of their dinghy - "Trailer Trash".

Weirdest name I ever saw was in the Conch Republic (of course).
Power cruiser pulled into the marina I worked at, sporting the name "Rumpleforeskin". I figured the owner had to be a surgeon or mohel or something like that. When I got up the nerve to ask him why he'd picked that name, he told me he'd seen the name on another boat and just liked it.

we saw a really tacky one that some would find amusing. On the intercoastal in Miami, FL many years ago was a 70' ? new motoryacht named "Rights of Man". Towed miserably and flailing behind it was an itsy bitty dingy named "women's lib".

Guess the owner must have had his clock cleaned in divorce court and tried to feel better with his stupid boat names.
