Money well spent:
YES - solar panels
YES NEW - Bombard dinghy
SHOULD HAVE - Sunbrella cockpit side canvas,
Seven solar panels did all but major power tools - Mobitronic shorepower charger,
Should have, would have saved a beaching - Garmin handhelds,
- STP Polygrease,
- Lanocote in grease and in spray,
YES ankle to chest type keep body heat in and clothes dry - Gill foulies,
DEFINITELY Especially if you have prescription glasses for distance/driving. The polarised versions aren't offered but are available. - Polaroid glasses,
- wide brimmed straw hats,
ALWAYS - all leather shoes,
ALWAYS COTTON and shorts, slacks - buttoned shirts in place of T-shirts and polos,
- Nivea sunblock,
- Italian pasta and coffee in Australia.
I'd just add NEW LIFE VESTS and PAPER CHARTS as back up and passage planning.
