Back in the water after a long winter

We finished painting the hull last weekend, we have another coat to do on the boot stripe this weekend and then it is back in the water on Monday morning. I can hardly wait!

I am fairly sure I don't like this "winter" stuff. Have to figure out a way to spend winter sailing in the Bahamas again!

Cheers!

Congratulations on a big job. How about a picture?

Did you spray or brush it on? Did you do the stern and underside of the bridgedeck? How much paint did it take? Did you do the hull prep yourself?

Not an easy winter even here down in southern sunny VA. I know it was a terrible one north. Looks like it's finally over.

Actually I should have said bottom paint!!! I was so happy to get it done.

Boat went into the water Monday. It was not the greatest of days. Drizzly for much of the day. Launched from Long Cove Marina in Rockhaul Maryland, brought the boat down to Herrington Harbor. The boat moves so much better when it doesn't have all the cruising gear aboard. Kind of hate to put it back on. I took a couple of pictures while the boat was in the sling. I'll post them in a day or two
