Monday afternoon saw a record
speed around here (Southern part of Denmark) 104 knots or 54 meters a second. The marina didn't look too good tuesday morning. Several boat had broken loose from their moorings and hit others. None sank but damages were substantial.
I own two small boats. One had the furler genoa
torn to shreds. The other had already been taken out of tha water
and moved for repairs
. While waiting for the storm I fortified and moved the trailer to a more sheltered area and added support posts. A number of trees broke off or were uprooted. One trunk missed the stern of the boat by a couple of feet. Pure luck
