Is there a way I can stop the advertising, specifically the one about the all gay cruises to Mexico?

I'm not trying to bash anyone, but to me, that's a little much.

If you become a supporter, does that make the ads go away?
I don't get the ads on my IPAD though

I think only the ads generated by CF (for sponsoring vendors) disappear if you become a supporter and select the option of no ads.

What you are describing is a Google ad. I am not sure why you are not getting these on your iPad. I am. I have learned to mentally block them out, so I cannot tell you if that specific one has appeared on my screen.

Re: Advertising

Adblock and Ghostery - never see an advert anywhere again and no website can track you when you visit those certain sites…

Re: Advertising

How 'bout that? Since I just clicked on this thread
I started getting that ad for gay cruises. Never got
them before. At least it's better than the ad about
t 0 3 n a 1 l funn g us. It's disgusting. Gotta be
careful what you type in your post as the ad people
are looking all the time for what interests you.

Seconded. I will actually close the browser and then sign back in to get rid of it. I can take wounds and such but fungus is just gross.

You know that is part of what bugs me, I can go shopping for almost anything on the internet, and Bang, ads for what I was shopping for start popping up.
I can assure you I didn't Google that, and for whatever reason that ad hasn't shown up again, thankfully

Re: Advertising

Adblock seems to have helped, and leaves the forums sponsoring vendors ads alone and I like that.

Re: Advertising

It is as if one ever expresses any sympathy for lgbt and then will be getting this add forever?

;-) yeah

Makes me wonder what is so special about gay cruises that a gay person cannot get it elsewhere.

Make love not war, and do something about that silly add, before I change up my mind and go gay cruising.

Cheers,
b.

Re: Advertising

BTW 900 bucks for such a crowded "cruise" ship is a rip off.
