A Woman's Logic

So the other day, I was walking through a store with a lady friend of mine, when she stopped and said, "Well that makes no sense!" I asked her what she meant. She said, "If the powers out, it won't work." I looked up and saw a sign stating, "On Sale -- Electric Generators". LMAO. She won't let me relate this on FB, so I guess I'm safe in posting it here.

Re: A Woman's Logic

I realize that this is Kentucky, but a guy did walk into a local home improvement store and tried to buy an electric POWERED generator in case the power went out. He said that the gas ones were too noisy. Must have been a West Virginian.

Same here…

I think it would be silly to keep on looking……

Re: A Woman's Logic

My best girlfriends car had engine problems and her husband had taken the head off. When she asked if she could use it one day he told her the bolts needed torquing down but he didnt have time to do it right away, so she replied - 'Tell me what to say to them and I will do it'

She went with him one day to a large chicken farm to see a genset which was for sale and she thought they needed the genset because it was a battery chicken farm

All true I swear

Re: A Woman's Logic

I used to have a tech in my employ who thought he knew everything.
No matter what the conversation was, he had to top it with something he did better.
He put huge rear tires on his beater van.
I asked him why and he said it would be always pointing downhill to give him better mileage!

Re: A Woman's Logic

Whilst driving to work one morning with the wife, I noticed a flat calm as far as the eye could see.
I remarked," Gosh, its still out there"
She said "whats still out there?"
I said " the Ocean-its still out there this morning"
She said " Where did you think it would have gone overnight?'

It has become a jovial one-liner everytime we drive that road now. I love her

Serious studies seem to disagree.

Logic - Uncyclopedia, the content-free encyclopedia

Woman logic

Though the precise origins of woman logic are still unknown, male scholars believe this form of reasoning eventuated during the completion of the successful cooking of a meal or successful delivery of slippers to her male master. After completing such activities the male master would praise and sometimes reward the woman’s efforts by presenting her with a little treat to encourage more of the same behaviour and productive energy usage. The foundations of this mysterious form of logic are based around the do-and-get-rewarded thought structure of the woman. No actual or academically recognised types of known logic are incorporated into this special type of reasoning. Women have proven (proof by woman logic) that the condition-reward system requires no strategy or application of true logic. The following general statement by Kegan Slipps sums up woman logic and is used by many as a credible definition of such:
“They must do what they must do to get a treat even if it means sacrificing all intelligent thought”
Some examples
  1. Make food => reward
  2. Clean house => reward
  3. Look sexy => reward
Accessories

A confident chap can enjoy his logic in any kind of clothing or even, and often preferably, none at all. Newcomers to the game, however, might find their chances of losing all their clothing increase if they purchase the following simple accessories:
  1. A pipe
  2. Glasses
  3. Corduroy trousers
  4. Elbow patches
  5. Bath sponge
  6. Condom
  7. Helmet

Jon, hadn't your friend heard about BATTERIES?

We use them during blackouts to power televisions, radios, cell phones, stereos...No reason why you couldn't use them to power a generator, too. (VBG)

Re: A Woman's Logic

Women's logic, now there's a contradiction in terms.

Women's Quote of the Day:
"Men are like fine wine. They all start out like grapes, and it's our job to stomp on them and keep them in the dark until they mature into something with which you'd like to have dinner with."

Men's Counter-Quote of the Day:
"Women are like fine wine. They all start out fresh, fruity and intoxicating to the mind and then turn full-bodied with age until they go all sour and vinegary and give you a headache"
