Every marina contract I've signed also has the stipulation that they can rent it out while I'm away. Haven't had it happen yet. The marinas have always had someplace else to put transients.

It really made me scratch my head and since they weren't making extra money, the person had paid for another slip, I can only figure it was a mistake that she then felt a need to cover herself for - in case I did decide to take action. As it turns out the fellow in my slip paid for another of the same size and since the fellow I'm subletting to doesn't care where he sits we're just doing a swap and everybody is happy.
