I'm also looking forward to an update of this modified Tehini 51 that Boatsmith is building.
I also have some thoughts to have the
helm and sail handling forward, since most of the time a cruising boat at sea will be on
autopilot or
windvane and this layout keeps all the lines and technical area in one place, and out of the way.
This then allows for all the space aft of that, all the way to the swim platform, to be one continuous large space, instead of being broken up into multiple small spaces like on many other Wharrams.
In my opinion even a lot of modern cruising catamarans have cockpits which are too small for tropical cruising, since this is were you spend so much of your time, possibly also even
cooking and sleeping out there too.
