Where do you keep certified doc's on board?

Just wondering where full timer's traveling out side the US keep your valuable doc's on board. I keep mine in a safe well hidden. What do you do?

While building my boat I built in all kinds of hiding places, which will have false covers for just that purpose.

I've built a hidey hole (where everything will remain dry unless the boat sinks) and keep our important docs and spare cash there.

but remember, it also has to be some place you can access quickly if abandoning the boat (the money )

Our books have gotten 5 star reviews on Amazon. Several readers have written "I never thought I would go on a circumnavigation, but when I read these books, I was right there in the cockpit with Vinni and Carsten"
