We are liveaboards-preparing-to-cruise, which adds another dimension. We keep the boat 30-min to sailing *except* when we are in the middle of a major refit project in which case we may have plywood and power tools in the cockpit, etc.

That said, we aren't really day sailor personalities. When not on a project we very regularly go sailing for the weekend, but rarely just for an after work sail. We've only done that a few times and it usually involved guests.
