What to use as a hailing port

We have two years left of our 5 year plan. We are selling everything (house, cars, toys)pretty much everything that won't fit on the boat, and moving on the boat and taking off. We will be sailing to Chesapeake for the summer and Bahamas for the winter. We don't have any family here and no real desire to return. What do I use as a hailing port? and what address do I use for a drivers license, Insurance, passport etc..?
I appreciate any input.

For the hailing port, if you are USCG Documented, it doesn't really matter. For an address, you can probably get a PO Box or a box at a UPS store and use that for everything.

I don't know the US laws, but I need an actual 'street address' in the Netherlands. I could have a whole bunch of PO boxes, without an actual address I'd be homeless as far as the law is concerned. Which has some unwanted consequences.

Most sailors I know that are out there somewhere sailing all use a 'postal address', which means they are registered with family and that family is legally responsible for making sure any mail from the government gets delivered to them.

Hailing port would usually be where ever you live on paper.

CD25 not big enough to document, choices for hailing port is actually well defined for documented boats.

I've been using St. Brendan's Isle for years, very happy with them. I have their address on my driver's license, cell phone and credit card bills, etc., and Green Cove Springs, Fl. as my hailing port.
No problems.

hailing port is supposed to be a place where you are able to receive usps mail delivery. havana is prohibited . no us mail. have fun.
this is all outlined in your uscg documentation info. why not read that ????

I'm not sure what this Real ID thing has to do with where mail is sent. UPS Store gives you a street address, and PO Box could work as well depending on ones situation. I'm sure people who RV/camper full-time use one or the other as needed. Still, I would think this is an option.

look at the link... it's for Havana Florida, not Havana Cuba.

Thank you for the input. I will look into a po box. I couldn't pull up Havana but I will keep looking into it.
