We're almost back to Florida. It will be good to be home. We never touch the Fire Ants, the Saddleback Caterpillers or the Manchineel Trees. 'best to know what can cause you pain!

Don't forget the Oleander.

I can hardly wait to get the boat in the water actually.

It's just a small pocket cruiser. It's spartan by nature. It's seaworthy, though, and can get places in shallow waters the big boats can't even remotely think about. Right now, she's stripped down for trailering, as well, remember..

Also, as a trailer sailer, she's designed for fast rigging. I have a nav suite, VHF, both a hard mount and handheld. There's a small onboard generator and battery bank on board, and sanitary facilities.

Luxury? No, but we've always lived a bit on the spartan side, as s I w as s a long haul truck driver for 25 years, and my wife spent a lot oc time on the road with me in tighter quarters.

Tom, mazal tov on the start of your great adventure; enjoy and give us lots of words and pictures to feed our dreams! You definitely epitomise the 'go small, go simple, go now' mindset.

Good luck and happy sailing. Will be a few years yet before I'm living on the water.

looks like it might be a day or so longer than I anticipated I still have in Bound supplies that haven't delivered yet.

so, I'm kinda stuck right now in limbo. should my boat into the water I have to start paying Marina Resort I can leave it on the hard on the trailer in my storage for the moment which I've. show yeah basically I get to do a little bit alike maintenance repair so proud of you little details I need to work on anyway just what I'm waiting for central systems like my GPS antenna and kind of thing.

philosophically thinking when is ever anything going smoothly when it concerns a boat hahaha? will still have the water this week no worries but I am probably going to wind up but I going directly out to the canal rather than do my ya returning and Fort Pierce Harbor rather than not in Lake Okeechobee because of shoals that are not marked and I really don't want to be in alligator country anyway.
