Re: Used Sail Uses

What we do around here is give them to ships bound to Haiti, fishermen there use towels and blankets as sails.

Re: Used Sail Uses

made complete sun shade for 34' Gemini, a 33' Glander Tavana, and sun shade for the house on my 31' Prout and privacy curtain for across back of cockpit. Sail was found in trash with luff ripped off, in almost new condition. Going on the second season with no problems

Re: Used Sail Uses

We have on our project list the making of some rope bags to hold some long polypro shorelines. Been waiting to get hands on some old sail material to make them out of.

Re: Used Sail Uses

I did the seabags deal and continue to be very pleased. They will make you one tote bag for each sail you send them. they pay for postage both ways. they built the bag so my sail numbers showed (per my request). my wife uses the bag as her main boat bag.
