If you take 5K worth of rice and beans with you to that bay it's anchored in and don't leave the bay. You should be OK.

Re: Unrealistic expectations?

Reading this thread, I got to wondering if there actually were any surveyors in Grenada, so I checked the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors, and Lo and Behold, there are two--both in the same firm.

I once used Nikolai Bohashevsky, who resides in Antigua, for an insurance survey and was very impressed with him, so there's hope that the others are competent, as well.

Re: Unrealistic Expectations?

Chris,
Good luck with your adventure! There is one site to have a look at to assist in your planning: Countries — Noonsite
Click on the country of choice & pay attention to the Restrictions section! Spearfishing is illegal in many countries! In Grenada, it's only for locals.
Regards,
Mike

Re: Unrealistic Expectations?

I'm only gonna spear in Tobago and probably Venezuela and some of the outer islands. I think Antigua is OK too as long as you don't eat any of the reef fish and get Ciguatera. Any marine parks it's a no go and most other islands. Anyway I will be a local haha

Re: Unrealistic expectations?

That's good to know. My friend said to use a guy that was part of flying fish or something or other. Thanks

Chris 84:
I feel your pain; the need to get out!
Please tell me if I am not correct.

It's about getting out of the "system" you are in and the need to move.

System: Being what ever governing body currently in power.

I live in the system but not for the system. I respect those in power because I live in the system.

I'm all about living My life.

Good luck Chris - I'd love to see posts of you progress. There is a lot to be said for "Just Do It."

You've had enough contra-advice.

The last piece is have an exit strategy. For you this may end up meaning abandoning the boat on the mooring or anchorage somewhere and going home.

Just make sure you can sell it on on dispose of it properly at the end of the year or whatever. The world already has enough abandoned boats.

She doesn't strip, anymore, since she put on all that weight.

I am an FSU graduate and still have a condo in Tallahassee and am a long time member of the student recreation center and I can assure you it is quite realistic to see lots of FSU coeds who look like that.

FSU is always rated in the top five for attractive female students.
