Tomorrow....

This afternoon at 1445 we will close on our house.. We have unloaded all of our stuff, not easy after 34 years of marriage. Today is my last day of work, quasi-retired. And TOMORROW we move onto Tivoli. It is almost surrealistic, not almost it is... We are a little numb, or for all the Pink Floyd fans - comfortably numb! Next big step is to prepare for our trip South in October.

Mike & Paula,
Wish you the best as you prepare for your next step in life. Of course, I am jealous.

Congratulations.
I'm sure we're all pleased that the child is NOT grown, the dream is NOT gone; but just starting.

Congrats Mike! This isn't just a change in address or occupation, and it isn't merely a change in lifestyle. It is an adventure, and with the passage of time I am sure that even the inevitable headaches and mistakes will be viewed fondly as an integral part of the same. Enjoy!

Congratulations ... You have an exciting time ahead of you. I made the move onto my floating home 1 week ago and it feels great. I'm still looking around having to pinch myself in the arm to confirm that it's real and it is. Now it's real for you too! Enjoy it!

Congratulations. There's nothing more exciting, scary, and rewarding as divesting yourself of stuff and moving aboard. Enjoy it all!

Good luck to you Mike, we should be heading south From South Carolina to the Bahamas in October or November so we might see you on the road. Would be good to see 2 Mariners in the same anchorage.
