After 8 months working on Wind Wanderer we're in shakedown mode and about ready to go cruising at last.

The CF family has been an incredible support and source of information, and inspiration when it feels like the work will never be completed... and it's still not
But it's a boat, enough said...

My brother in law has been a keen follower of our progress and can't believe how smart I am

We've dipped into this amazing pool of knowledge and experience for ground tackle, solar panels, teakwork, rollerfurling, dinghies, radios, AIS, tanks, fuel and water gauges, batteries, aluminium coating, Open CPN, charts, and I know I've missed a whole bunch more.

Maybe now I'll have a bit more time to spend back here again...

So far the shakedown has resulted in a few nips and tucks. No major surgery required... well, we should chop the spinnaker pole back a few feet

Next stop Antigua

Well I'd better really stock up big time if I'm still going to have some by the time I get to Bris. But I'll put a bottle of Mount Gaye aside for you!

Let me know how it goes. And dark side doesn't kick in until the champagne wets the bows!
