Are there any folks actually living aboard at Tantallon near Fort Washington? What are your experiences? What's the commute like to DC?

I'm now wondering the same question myself... I am going to be commuting to Alexandria. Anybody have any thoughts or advice? (I see a lot of reviews urging people to stay at National Harbor instead, but I am a single guy that will be a liveaboard, so those comments didn't scare me too much)

No... Steer clear!!! My wife and I visited last year. It's a little seedy (like i wouldn't let my 5 year old daughter out of my site kinda way) and the creek doesn't get dredged on a regular basis.
