I will add in that if youve got shorepower, or even a genny on anchor how about a heating blanket. When i was on shore power i would leave one of the small space heaters running and have a heating blanket on the bed. Now on anchor, i turn the heater off at bedtime, but i always run the genny for a few hours before i go to bed so i would turn on the heating blanket and let it get the bed nice and warm.

A friend's boat caught on fire when their heating blanket was left on and bunched up while they were at work. They lost their cat and the boat was a total loss.
