Single Captain Seeking

a mate for world cruising.

I'm a 59 year old man preparing to circumnavigate - not out to sail around the world but rather to sail anywhere alluring along the way.

A companion of utmost character, integrity and a wee bit of humor would sure be a plus.

Anyone have a suggestion of what forums might be good to consider for casting my line? I'm not seeking a golddigging, sex-for-lifestyle type deal. Instead finding a healthy decent mate who shares some world views, goals and especially the love of sailing is my objective.

Any suggestions?

Re: Single Captain Seeking

I would think a sailing club would be a place to start.

Re: Single Captain Seeking

Howdy!

There are social groups on this site, within CF.

Look at the top menu for groups under the "community" item in the menu bar up above.

Then search them for one called something like Single Sailors Society

http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/...oul+mates.html

Follow instructions there to join.

It has many male and female members.

Before you go to that step, I suggest you completely fill out your CF profile and upload photos of yourself and your boat.

Good luck on your search and non voyage too.

Re: Single Captain Seeking

If you're anywhere near the Chesapeake Bay, here's a really good singles sailing organization. A friend of mine met his wife there. There're headquartered in Annapolis, Maryland.
