Seeking Source for Kerosene Burners

Not sure this is the right place to ask this, but would appreciate it if anyone knows of suppliers of kerosene burners at a reasonable cost.

I have a Taylors stove and I'm told the Portuguese manufacturer of the burners I now have has gone out of business.

cheers and thanks.

Google locates some in India

Stove Burner- Kerosene Stove Burners, Wholesale Kerosene Stoves and Burners, 1,2,3,4, Burners for Kerosene Stoves

I don't know anything about this company, I have a kerosene stove but have a complete set of spare burners. You can probably find them on Ebay at times.

I had an ebay search going for quite a while. Only once did I get a hit and that was for a complete cooker in Dartmouth, NS.

I too would like to find a US source.

Blakes Lavac Taylor has spares kits. I presume you can order from them in England.

Other than that you could try St Brendans Isle, the mail forwarding people. They are the US distributor for Lavac toilets, of Blakes, Taylor, Lavac, so maybe they can source them.

Let me know, I would buy one or two myself.

Also, my boats PO bought a couple of Portugese units. I tried to put one in this summer and the fitting was different. The treads were the same but the bottom of the male fitting extended down with about a 1/4 of unthreaded body that held the burner unit too high.

Also try this source in England. They say a complete burner is L70 or about $100.

Thanks for the replies. Friend who reads German pointed me to Stuga-Cabana <http://www.hytta.de>. He says what my stove needs is a "Regulierbrenner Optimus", part #SPO-3868. At 59 euros not dirt cheap like the old Portuguese-made burners, but some other prices that I have been quoted lately have curled my toes, so what can you do?

Re hpeer's post, I have purchased kero burner spares from base-camp in the UK, and the service was excellent.

we have been trying to get replacement burners for a heater as well. Base camp in UK seems a likely spot although their run of burners we need failed so we are awaiting their next run. Good luck and let us know if you find anything closer to home.
Cheers
