Seeking liveaboard rental or boat sitter position, Italy 2017

Here's a long shot.

I plan to be in northern Italy , close to the Adriatic, for three months from April 2017 as part of an academic exchange. It would be tragic not to try to stay on a boat during this period, and to settle for renting a boring apartment instead.

Academic = poor. Conventional shiny yacht charters/rental, even longer-term, are eye-wateringly steep -- not sure this is just an Italian thing. AirBnB not so much, but there's very limited availability there (after a while looking at some of the listings I realised I was looking at renting a cabin, not a whole boat!).

So I'm just putting it out here: I would very much like to rent your boat for a reasonable price or even mind your boat. Would like to do a little sailing, but will also be very busy with writing so certainly not all the time or every day.

I'm not too fussy about the size, age or condition so long as it is dry and seaworthy and has reasonable mod cons, although reasonable headroom would be nice. Not really looking to share due to work.

Firmly middle-aged, I'm a well-experienced racing sailor, though without retained certification (even though I've probably done four courses on holidays in the Med). I have done extensive inshore cruiser racing, monohull and cat, with marina docking and buoy mooring, sea, river and canal. I race-helm a sportsboat all the time, and I've been in dinghies since forever.

My missus, who is a total landlubber, might come and visit for short periods if I can persuade her.
