Thanks, fstbttms..... judging by your picture , the number of posts, and your location as under a boat somewhere in SFran Bay, I'd say your humble opinion on this sugject should not be so humble at all. With all the time you spend in marinas in the area, your opinion has one of the best!!

I am not a fan of cities that have cops out ticketing every where you go. It's an alright place, but it's an island. I'm sure being docked there would be completely different though. I have lived there since my early 20s. Maybe things have changed.

I have been working and boating in Alameda for over 18 years. Never once been ticketed for anything. Well there was that time the Coasties got me for not having proper safety equipment aboard my workboat, but that's a different story.
