Right glue

I have an AVON 10ft Rover inflatable. The rub rail keeps falling off. Does anyone know what glue will make it stay put?

Right glue

Any two part adhesive for hypalon should do.

Have you already tried other adhesives? Like silicone? If so you may not be able to get anything else to stick.

Re: Right glue

If it's hypalon, try SC 3000. Sand off all old glue, and clean the surface thoroughly with toluene or acetone. It also works well below the water line, like for a torn floor.

Re: Right glue

Many people have used 3M 5200 and other polyurethanes with good results. I used Locktite S40 for that ~ 5 years ago. Still good.

Surface prep is important.
