We are looking for
advice and ideas on Spending the next
Hurricane Season at
Anchor in
Panama on The Pacific Side. Or other nearby nice and
safe anchorages. Our plan is to short hand the
boat at
anchor for the season while we take turns at leaving the
boat for extended periods.
Ideally we would like to be close to a Marina if needed in an
emergency situation, close to onshore facilities and yet in a comfortable pleasant location. Our longer term plan is to
head across the Pacific after
Hurricane season and arrive in
Australia by late October or early November the following year. If anyone has experience and can offer any
advice I would greatly appreciate it.
Windwalker is a 43'
Fountaine Pajot Cat and she will be
single handed for most of the time at
anchor, unless we have visitors.
