Really Good Sailing Blogs

Winter is fast approaching and I do like to read other peoples sailing blogs.

Obviously our blogs are the best on the web and no doubt every one of you is following them avidly.

What sailing blog sites have you come across which are really worth reading besides your own and you can suggest others look at?

Try: World Tour Stories - Alex and Taru sailing around the world. Hallberg Rassy 352 for sale.

Very attractive couple who focus on food and beautiful photography.

I have just had a quick look at the site above. I see what you mean about the photography. Wonderful pictures and I look forward to reading more.

I go to sailblogs and look at the member map so I can concentrate on boats that are in locations that interest me. SailBlogs Member Map | Sailing Blog Hosting, Map Tracking & Social Network
Although Alex and Taru's site is on my feed list even though I have no interest in their location, well just her location in the photos...

Liz Clark and the Voyage of Swell

Liz Clark, former pro surfer, solo sailing a Cal 40 around the world, surfing... she's an excellent writer and her blog reads like a book. And she does cool stuff, like hang out with Jimmy Buffet, climb mountains, forage her own food, etc..

I personally like reading the Bianka Blog. I'm interested in Electric motors and Mike has done a good job of sharing the steps to conversion and his experiences since going Electric.

Re: Really Good Sailing Blogs

Over winter my project has been to re design our website. It is now almost done.

I still have to add the gallery but that should be up soon.

What is it that sailors want to see on a sailing blog and if anyone has the time can anyone have a look at the new site and let me know if it works, what I could do better and if there is anything I can add that you would like to see.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Can anyone recommend a good iPad app for keeping track of one's favourite blogs?

Since I got this iPad I downloaded an app called "Bloglovin" which is okay, but many blogs can't be found on it.
I guess the blogger has to link up with the app makers to get included in their app?

Try Feedly. It's not perfect, but, if you've been getting RSS feeds to the blogs (or other sites), Feedly will pull them together pretty well.
