I really got carried away this time. See the sixth and eighth entries here
SSCA Discussion Board :: View topic - Tower vs. Laptop Logic.com has a fairly useable motherboard matrix, but I suggest that you put your requirements together and just call them for a recommendation. I've been reading up on liquid bath computers and I think you could put a pico-itx board in an oil-filled finned container with outside connectors, and have a totally marinized PC with lots of power or very low draw that would run forever. For $300. All the other peripherals could plug and play. Rot-trash-replace with spares. [yes, nurse, I forgot my pills.....] |
