new member with some questions

Hi all,

New member here.

I've always been interested in boating throughout my childhood right up to today. As a part of that i am exploring doing liveaboard as a lifestyle while i continue working on land.

My questions are:

- Are there specific liveaboard marinas and moorages, or do you generally pay for a regular moorage and then just decide to live there?

EDIT: Above question answered in a recent thread.

- I am not looking to 'get away from it all' and don't mind living close to others, with that in mind, does anyone have any info on moorages in the Vancouver Lower Mainland?

Thanks very much for any answers!

Cheers,
Mark

Mark, this is a place to start, but doesn't include all possibilities, nor the various yacht clubs.

I've been poking around for a place on Vancouver Island for when I eventually get home. If you google "marina" or "anchorage" and the city/port/bay you want chances you will find lots more.
