Pickles!

Get dinner or a beer at Scarlett O'haras. We named an earlier boat after that bar decades ago ;-)

(Always try to name a boat after a bar, free logo napkins, hats, t-shirts, etc)

Broke 2 dock lines "up against the wall" at Emerald Bay back in January.....got caught there 11 days.....that wont happen again! Was in the middle of NFL playoffs though.....good TeeVee seats for the games!

Got to volunteer for the golf tournament too....have to keep looking for silver linings I suppose

Only 3 silver linings at Emerald Bay

1 - the Emerald Bay Pub is pretty good, especially by Bahamas standards
2 - the marina has a nice Monday Happy hour
3 - the washing machines and dryers are free

Yes Erika is nice. Hardly saw anyone golfing during the 8 days I was there, everyone said it was too hot and windy.

But

6. Escaping!

BTW that Frey Festival sure didn't work out!!! We left a couple days before it was suppose to happen and it was apparent to us that is wasn't going to happen.

Be sure to check in with the St. Augustine Cruisers Net. They have been very active lately, even though most of gone north.

The radio net will stay in place until the end of May or you can just check us out on facebook.

Why don't you join it? Its not locked. Send a request to join.

It would be cool if you could come and give a talk to the other cruisers to discuss you expenses, budget, etc.
