Looks like you spent a bundle on food this month. Stock up at Costco?

Your fuel consumption is reasonable... assume you took the ICW for a bit?

I don’t think the IRS will allow you to claim the prostitutes under “gifts” anymore.

I've adjusted for the tax deduction loss by reducing the quality requirements, which why entertainment is so low

As always, thanks for this. Don't you just love it when people critcize?

I do have one question... do you put on your Kevlar flak jacket before or after making these posts?

Both, and most every time before I read a response. But sometimes I forget and take a hit. But it's starting to not matter as the vests can only take so much before things get by it and it's not in the budget to get a new one. Maybe time for a fund me page?

Maybe some of us telling you we appreciate your post can serve as a flak jacket for you.

LMAO!!

How's Boot Key looking after the hurricane? Are you tied to a mooring ball, in one of the marinas, or on the hook?

Thanks for continuing to post your expenses.

Re: Month 15 Expenses of Cruising and Living on the Boat

The Harbor looks fine and there's lots of moorings still available (I'm on a mooring). We have been here 4 days but haven't been anywhere yet due to wife's knee injury.

I'm glad people still are interested in the budget posts. I'll keep doing as long as I feel people are interested ( replied etc)

I'm still following with interest as well, thanks sb1. And as an aside, you have been hitting your budget more consistently lately. I guess the comments about it taking a year or so to settle out have some merit.
As always, it's nice to see real numbers to help with the planning for us dreamers.

As we prep to cast off this summer I thank you for the time you spend keeping track of your cost and posting these. It’s comforting to know cruising is fits our budget and your posts provide some good food for thought.
Aloha
