Looking to meet live aboard people

I am heading to Florida this Tuesday and wondering if there is anyone in the area to meet and talk to about live aboard. I am looking for a cat and planning to move on the boat next year. I would love to meet others that are sailing the islands or that have . I need all the info I can get. Thanks in advance . I look forward to speaking to you.

Hey Christina - cats are the greatest for liveaboards . . that's my final goal as well. Wife and I are Hoosiers also but spent some 30 yrs in PA making beer in Latrobe and pop in Baltimore. We're in Homosassa but that area isn't the greatest for liveaboards and the depth ratings are horrible (1 foot down per 1 mile out . .Yikes!) . . doesn't help my 38' Avanti at all.. . . but, if you need a place to stay on your way down to "greener pastures" (hopefully, not "green water"), send a PM and we can talk.

That would be Great. We are flying in to Fort Lauderdale on tues and will be in the keys for a few days .we will be driving back to Fort Lauderdale on fri. We would love to get with you on Friday or Saturday. 😁

We are going to be in the keys. And we are traveling to Rhode Island the first week week of October would be great to get the information of the owner of the boat and check it out .

Unfortunately, our boat is down for repairs this week (and maybe into next week), but we’d be happy to meet with you Friday morning at the marina and discuss cats ( we’re not liveaboards, though, and won’t have some of the info that you’re seeking).
