Land Locked

I have sailed the inland waters of the great lakes all my life. This has been mostly done in day sailers. I am about to purchase my first cruiser and start the dream of freedom. I am as land locked as you could be at this point so the escape will take a year or two to complete. I have to dump horses and maybe a wife. My question is this, assuming one is not wealthy to the point of not needing to work how does one support the lifestyle while sailing to new destinations?

Look at what is needed out there...
Look at the abilities you have to offer....
Then just switch on ingenuity...

Welcome to CF......
