Just Bought Another Boat and Moving Aboard Sunday !

I just bought a very nice 1975 Westsail 28, hull #2.

All the moneys have been transfered, Friday we do the paper work and make it official.

Sunday will be my first night aboard, and all next week I will be going over all the boat gear, inventorying, trashing, and sorting out boat gear. And starting to move all my things aboard.

The plan is to live at my docks for about a month to get moved in, then move out to the local mooring field.

1.5 years after that the 5-7 year trip around the world begins.

Some may say I am crazy for moving onto a WS28, but I am living my dream!



Her name is Eagle, but will soon be Aqua Culture.

CONGRATS!!

I understand your excitement, I just bought a new to me Alberg 30. Some might call you crazy but you have a nice ocean worthy boat and probably have money to spare. In my case I paid more for my new Cape Horn windvane than I did the entire very solid boat!

I like your enthusiasm and let the fun begin!

Me too, I'm envious!! Hopefully, we will be doing exactly the same thing ourselves, soon!! Who cares what anyone says, as long as you are happy with your choices, that's all that matters!!!! Once again, congrats and keep us posted!!!!
