Jobs and Liveaboard - New Beginnings

Just wondering: For those who liveaboard and DON'T have a steady retirement and/or other passive income, what opportunities, if any, are there for jobs nearby wherever you may be? This could be in the States and/or in the Caribbean. Is it possible to make a few $$$?

I'm obviously just beginning the process but am looking to move to a place that this might be possible. (Currently live in NE Minnesota.)

If you had a blank slate - starting a whole new life - and wanted to liveaboard a boat and find just about any type of job just to keep you afloat - where/what would it be?

I know, it's a wide-open probably naive question. Humor me if you can. Thanks.

John

That is wide open and depending on more details I think the responses could and would be greatly varied. I don't liveaboard yet but am planning on it soon. I work in a "city by the bay" which would allow me to change nothing except my mailing address. Your job prospects in any costal community are going to be the same whether you're living on a boat or living on land. Now if you're talking about moving to another country and looking for work than check some of my earlier posts... I too am trying to find the best route and greatest amount of information on making that dream into a nice blend of the senses.
