Re: How many liveaboards?

Maybe a bit premature to post this, as we are not yet actually living aboard, but we are in the process of buying a boat, set up as a liveaboard, and should be taking up residence on Lake Ontario sometime in July. We are excited and terrified in almost equal measure, having no great sailing experience. The learning curve will be fierce, but we are motivated, and there are many other LAs at the marina who will be getting their brains picked on a daily basis!

How many liveaboards?

Just a tad premature. We have been living aboard for around 14 years on the Gulf of Mex. This coming February, we are giving up sailing and heading inland to Kentucky Lake, Ky. on our New-T-Us Mainship 36 DC Mototryacht.

Re: How many liveaboards?

Not land locked, but did live aboard 13 years on the Columbia River in Portland, OR. First three years had a teenager aboard and it worked out great. Did throw off the lines and went cruising. Took 7 seasons but now in Florida. It has been a wonderful adventure.
