Ann...as soon as Fog
lifts an tide is out, I'll go measure.
As to winds, we experience constant winds with some varying to 20kts occasions to 40, not a rarity.
Recently we had a Tornado pass very close by, I lost
a tree, with their high winds, the tide was flooding against the river current
as well. The PVC held up flawless.
My "avatar " photo
is my boat at my dock
. It is similar to photo
in Post 71.
My pilings on the dock
side do not protrude out past the walking deck
making it necessary to use my boards. I could depend on my "rub rail" but no need to wear it out. The PVC was well worth the expense.
I hope this helps.
Life is good if you Keepa Smilin ....😊
