kids are a lot younger but I'm having better luck with this
route (which I think I got from others on here). Go here:
Content Standards - Standards & Frameworks (CA Dept of Education) to give yourself some targets. Gifted or not, all kids have different interests and challenges so you can have a degree of flexibility.
Grab workbooks and study materials pertaining to the proficiency required for whatever goals. If they need to learn calculus 1, the best
books are rarely part of an official curriculum.
Some people love the more structured curriculum, others prefer shaping their own. We like the latter with our young
children, using the
California standards as a way of benchmarking where our kids are at.
