Hammock for Two

I would like my multihull to be as lightweight as possible, and was thinking
of using a Hammock style bed, which seems about as lightweight as it gets.
However, a traditional one with two attachments seems only good for one person. Given I am replacing my bed at home, I was thinking of trying to create a 'four post' hammock that two can sleep in to see how it would work on the boat. Not sure it is a hammock anymore, but a mesh/trampoline bed.
Anyone do their bed this way? Suggestions?

PLEASE.... please ... please.... Set up video documentation for the rest of us to enjoy.... Not saying it's all going to end badly....

The problem may arise when you go to sea and try to sleep in a multihull hammock. As you probably know, the motion in a multi is more of a snap-roll than a side to side oscillation. That could be very awkward. I tend to lay on my belly, spread out, when things are rough, which makes the snap-roll less uncomfortable when things are lively. Still better than on a "leaner".

I have spent some time camping in a Hennessy Hammock and would suggest you try a single hammock first to understand the physics. A hammock tends to have a low point between the two supports this usually is where the rump is. The sides of the hammock tend to wrap around the body. Once you get used to it this is a great way to sleep.

Envisioning two people in a hammock, bodies bent at the rump, sandwiched in by the sides....well that is the type of venue normally reserved for adult movies or if done tastefully old Abbot and Costello flicks.....

I believe when the concept goes through the detailed design phase, the R&D team will abandon the project.....

Two people trying to sleep in a hammock does not work well and is very uncomfortable. Best to meet in one hammock for fun (which works quite well) and then retire to seperare hammocks for a good nights sleep.
