Guide for preparing to live aboard .

We have pretty much narrowed which boat we want to get just wondering if anyone has put out a guide for all the things one needs to do before setting off. Things like insurances, best way of staying in touch , taking your boat out for winter or good marinas to stay put for winter?Probably going to start in the Med.

Thanks in advance

Carolyn Sherlock of The Boat Galley pretty much covers everything you mentioned:

Guide for preparing to live aboard .

I currently have my spreadsheets as I prepare myself for an open end departure in 2020. Based on my own experiences from a one year Atlantic round. I felt it more convincing not to use list from others because everybody has different requirements. My starting point e. g. is 13.000 km away from my place, so a lot of things to do in a different way.

My proposal is to dig into some books but finally doing your stuff individually.
