Exercise Idea...

I like to bike... has anyone ever built a small pedaling apparatus for the boat that will run a spare alternator to generate electricity? needs to be easy to store obviously....

This way I could get my exercise in and do something for the boat also !

45 minute work-out and charged batteries?!

You can't generate much juice with a 45 minute pedal. There are some commercial devices out there and various home made ideas but they probaly aren't worth the cost or bother. If you search the forum you will find the idea has been kicked about a bit.

A lot better off with a folding bike for the cycling and a solar panel for the juice.
