Re: Dream took a turn: if you were me

First, What Dirk said.
Second, depending on your experiences, remember you don't necessarily have as many healthy years ahead of you. I'm dealing with some of that now. I sure wish I head pushed ahead with the plan five years sooner.
Third, now that I'm spending more time away from the job and around the boat, I'm realizing that the people I meet are much more in line with sharing the same ideas and mindset. If you are down at the boat, sailing, and diving you are much more likely to meet that person directly or through the people you meet then you are following your old routine. Even if you don't, believe me it is mentally healthier.
And if you want some PNW experience, come on out and I'm happy to demonstrate what I don't know in the Sound and San Juans.

Cascade 36 looks sweet. If I was in your shoes that would be tempting. Can't beat the fresh water Great Lakes boats. Currently our dollar is strong which encourages foreign purchase and Canada is close to home for you and offers many excellent choices. Thanks to NAFTA pretty easy to buy in Canada as US American.
