the krillnoise is krill..lol many think is lobsters or crabs feeding or sand moving--is krill . good luck and have fun. you will find krill mostly everywhere that has salt water.. and, yes, they are ON your hull, they come from lil sacs -- translucent--and grow to no more than one inch in length. they make a snapping sound on hull.

We call it phospherescence. Minute plankton like creatures. Same ones that cause the glow in the dark effect........... get it all the time but too cold for shrimps in NZ.

dont ye have krill in nz?/ those things like cold and warm water--- even san diego has krill..is the tan stuff that gets into the warm spots of your wet suit when in the water a few minutes and sting a bit..

This is exactly what it sounds like. Its been a week now and we are still floating so im fairly sure its sea creatures versus boat failure.

Thanks for all the info, the video of the Pistol Shrimp was quite funny.
