Started before we left Hawaii in 2007. Link in my sig
Incidentally, my "Private signal" is a blue plastic bucket hoisted to the spreaders. That comes from our honeymoon in HM Bark Endeavour sailing from Vancouver BC to Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Blue plastic buckets with a smiley face in the bottom were provided to seasick crew members. I was the last to recover from seasickness.
We told the crew we would sail out to meet them when they arrived in Honolulu and when they asked how they would recognize our boat we said "You'll know". They did.

We just started our blog about our life onboard our new boat. Actually by "we" I mean my wife has started our blog. She's much better about keeping up with those types of things than I will ever be. It's still very much in its infancy and isn't quite up-to date yet, but if anyone's interested:

Nice website. Mine is Sailing Faith: Home Page , chronicling our family's four and a half years, thirty eight countries, and 35,000 miles during our circumnavigation.
Thanks
Gregg

jim thomsen, I remember in Almerimar, your site is great too.
Lyralicious, this is a great thread, checking out everybody's sites is fun, including yours, where I did add a link.

Bahamas site I'm working on. Still in progress, but It think it already has some useful info.
bahamasmariner.com
I've done about 9 Bahamas cruises so far, six of which were on my own boat departing from Florida and also chartered out of Marsh Harbour 3 times. I have a boat in charter with The Moorings and another in Florida.

We've developed a cruising blog search.. After returning from our 5.5 year trip we realized it's very hard to find detailed up to date information from fellow cruisers. We're trying to get people to add position info to the post so we can map the results. Learn more or submit your blog.
Checkout our blog for examples of dynamic maps that can be added using the same info (to blogger blogs or custom sites).

My blog is more about transitioning to life aboard. It's not really about sailing. Hummingway's path It's been fun so far :-) Your lins seems to have a index.php after your url and don't work for me without removing it:
http://www.followtheboat.com/index.p...s-cant-swim-2/
With my cats it was never a question of can't but why would you? Current sea cat Kitty the Pooh sees little value in any activity that doesn't involve sleeping (she's 18) which would rule out swimming.

I suspect our blog will transistion to being more about sailing, once we find the boat we need to buy.
But for the past two years it's been about what it's like moving from the USA to a small island nation. There is a lot of boat stuff on it, but it's our power boats.

my "blog" - Boat Projects and Sailing Stories, from the Chesapeake to Newfoundland also known as the "Mount Allen Boatyard."
Not sure it really qualifies as a blog, at least I don't really think of it that way -- it's just "my sailing website" to me I guess.

Re: Do You Have a Sailing Blog?
Last year so many friends and work mates asked for email updates of our April cruise it got to be a pain.
This year I am giving them the blog site so they can check it if they have an interest.
