Currently in Mid-Break from Land

I finally did it, bought the boat, a 30 ft Californian trawler, and after lurking on here for a year I figured I should log in and share the good news. I have had the boat for a couple weeks now and have little more than a week left before my apartment lease is up and I am full time aboard. the nights on it have been awesome and taking it out has been great as well (except for the nervousness of getting it in and out of the slip). I will share some more later just wanted to say YaY!

I'm renting a slip in Clear Lake, which is just west of Galveston Bay in the Houston area. I am based out of Houston for now so this is where the boat and I will call home for a while.

Today was spent removing the last bit of my stuff from my apartment, so now I only have one place to live, and would say tonight officially starts my full time status..

I will upload some pics soon, it's been a crazy few weeks!
