Cost of live aboard - Sorry another one of those questions

Thanks everyone for the input.

Wow, $4k-7k/month will be way beyond my budget (by more than double). Guess I better consider more in the 28-32' range. Although some of those expenses would still apply to any boat. I can afford that budget range now while working, but once I retire, I will be living on passive income from rental properties. That budget range would consume most of my income. Looks like I will have to continue to research and consider whether this is something I can afford.

Thanks again for the advice on marinas. I just got back from visiting Fortman and Marina Bay marinas.

Fortman was nice. Quiet and peaceful. Very nice ladies sitting at the tables outside the yacht club. They let me borrow the key to use the restroom even though I didn't buy anything.

Next I visited Marina Bay farther north. Wow, what a nice harbor! Nice parks and green grass. I see that there was 3 main groups of slips. The group of slips farthest east has a sailing school "Tradewinds Sailing School & Club". Very impressed. And the slip fees seem reasonable. Huge 140+' Yacht in the far east group of slips. Wonder who owns that?
