oh yeah, lots of party's on a 2 year schedule. you do realize 30,000 miles will take 300-400 days of actual sailing time right? is 300 days of partying enough for you? i would have a dificult time spending over $500 a day on a continual basis. dreaming is fun, huh?

Re: Circumnavigation, Two Year's Cost

1yr sailing,1yr party. take 50000$ boat cost, remains 150.000$ . ye, maybe a bit too much. I'll redirect 40000$ for boat. So now the boat budget is 100000$.
start searching the boat now.

Re: Circumnavigation, Two Year's Cost

Invest 200,000 , boat for 20,000....and cruise on 40,000 initially while using the interest off the 200 to cruise forever.....

Now you can plan how long a trip will take? Also, your budget is way too low for the real world of cruising.

$500/day barely covers a halfway decent hotel and a few beers down the Pub in London..

Not a hope in hell... it'll take you at least 1 month to get across Panama for starters... and that's just 50 miles.... the average for clearing outa Somalia is 18months... or eternity... now if you were flying... maybe..

Your dreaming, in case you hadn't noticed there is a small pirate problem in the Northern Indian Ocean.
